Exhibition On Screen featuring a film of Bosch

On December 3 and 8, Exhibition On Screen, a program that combines art and film to take the public on a visual and narrative journey through the lives and works of the great masters of painting. The screening will be The Curious World of El Bosco, to be shown at 6:30 p.m. at Cine Magaly.

This documentary film offers an intimate look at the creations of the renowned Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch, known as Bosch, a leading figure of the Flemish school of painting. Through his works, such as the famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights, the film explores the vivid imagination and creative genius of this visionary, whose work transcends epochs and connects the medieval and Renaissance worlds.

A cinematic and artistic experience

Exhibition On Screen is an initiative created by Seventh Art to be shown exclusively in cinemas and theaters around the world. Each documentary in the program uses state-of-the-art film technology to capture the details and stories behind the masterpieces of artists such as Monet, Goya, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

After 500 years, the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch continue to surprise and fascinate. The documentary highlights the exhibition The Bosch: Visions of a Genius at the Het Noordbrabants Museum, which brought together for the first time most of the artist’s works in his hometown, Den Bosch, attracting half a million visitors.
