1. Enjoy free movies at Preámbulo
The Costa Rica Cinema Center invites you to its “Vacationers” film series, part of the Preámbulo program, where thematic movies are screened for free every week. This weekend, screenings will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the Cinema Center in San José. No reservation is needed; just show up and enjoy the seventh art.
2. Open air concert at the University of Costa Rica.
For live music lovers, the UCR University Ecological Front will present a free concert on Friday, November 8 at 7:00 pm. This event will feature the participation of the Costa Rican bands Lentamente, Sruf and Nomeolvides, who will create a perfect environment to enjoy good music and the energy of the university community.
3. International Festival of the Arts (FIA) 2024 in Guanacaste
From November 8 to 17, the FIA takes over Guanacaste with a diverse program that includes music, theater and dance. Danza Abierta presents its Continuum season at the Teatro de la Danza in San José, with free performances from Friday through Sunday.
