At the heart of the literary experience, BOOKAFEST 2024. This festival, born out of a passion for literature and creativity, rises as a safe and entertaining space for authors and entrepreneurs, creating a creative community like no other.

After the resounding success of its first edition in June 2023, we are excited to announce the arrival of the second edition of BOOKAFEST in 2024.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday, February 4 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Momentum Pinares, Curridabat, San José.

Diversity will be the protagonist of these two days, where books, art, fashion, food, comics, ceramics, illustration, toys, stationery and much more will merge. This will be a unique opportunity to explore and acquire creations of talented authors and artists.

One of the peculiarities of BOOKAFEST is that it is “pet-friendly”. Yes, you can bring your pets, as long as you follow some basic rules: your pet must be calm, always wear a leash and collar, and if they relieve themselves, be sure to pick up and clean up after them. In case of any damage to the facilities, the owners must cover the associated financial costs.

But, will you only find books? No, this event goes beyond that, offering a wide range of businesses where you can buy fashion accessories, food, stationery, toys, illustration and other different items. Besides, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with the authors, exploring different genres and styles.
